About WhichTrade
WhichTrade exists to help young people in the UK discover rewarding trade careers. We believe that apprenticeships and vocational qualifications are a brilliant path to a fulfilling, well-paid career — and that more young people should know about them.
Why Trades?
The UK has a growing skills shortage in trade professions. Electricians, plumbers, carpenters, dental nurses, chefs and many more skilled workers are in high demand. Yet many school leavers don't know what these careers involve, how to get started, or how much they could earn.
Trade careers offer real advantages: you earn while you learn through apprenticeships, you gain practical skills that are always in demand, and many trades offer excellent self-employment opportunities. No student debt required.
